General & Laproscopic Surgery

General & Laproscopic Surgery

  • General and laparoscopic surgery are two types of surgical procedures that are performed by surgeons.
  • General surgery involves operating on various organs and tissues in the body, such as the stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder, appendix, spleen, pancreas, thyroid, breast, and skin.
  • Laparoscopic surgery, also known as minimally invasive surgery, involves using small incisions and a thin tube with a camera and instruments attached to it. This allows the surgeon to see inside the body and perform the operation with less trauma and faster recovery.
  • Laparoscopic surgery can be used for many of the same conditions as general surgery, such as appendicitis, hernia, gallstones, obesity, and cancer.
  • Endoscopy is a medical procedure that allows a doctor to examine the inside of a patient's body using an endoscope, which is a thin, flexible tube with a light and a camera at the end. Endoscopy can be used to diagnose or treat various conditions, such as ulcers, polyps, tumors, bleeding, inflammation, or infections.
