Cashless mediclaim allows you to receive treatment without paying hospital bills upfront. The insurance provider or TPA (Third Party Administrator) directly settles the eligible amount with the hospital.

● Current year policy copy
● Employee policy card (if corporate policy)
● Consulting doctor’s letter & positive investigation report
● PAN & Aadhaar cards of both patient and policyholder
● Passport-size photo of the policyholder

The process starts only after all required documents are submitted.

It usually takes at least 1 day for the insurance/TPA to process queries and approve the cashless facility.

Yes, a refundable security deposit is mandatory and varies by room type:
● General Ward: ₹10,000
● Twin Sharing: ₹15,000
● Deluxe Room: ₹20,000
● General ICU: ₹30,000
● Surgery Cases: ₹20,000

It will be refunded via NEFT within 45–60 days after discharge, once the final claim is settled.

Not all. Co-payment deductions, policy exclusions, and non-payable items (e.g., MRI, Holter Monitor, Blood Products, EEG) must be paid by the patient directly. Some items can be claimed later for reimbursement.

The difference must be paid by the patient. It cannot be adjusted against the security deposit.

The patient must settle the hospital bill as per the hospital tariff.

Discharge under cashless takes around 3 to 4 hours after the discharge documents are submitted to the insurance/TPA.
